Banff in winter is something else
The skiing at Lake Louise Ski Resort is just incredible. Runs for every level and the snow was perfect. Banff Ave has great spots to warm up after a day on the slopes. Highly recommend!
Best mountain town I've been to
The views around the Bow Valley Parkway are absolutely stunning - mountains everywhere you look. Walked around town, ate some great bison burgers, and just soaked it all in. Such a cool place.
Perfect winter getaway
Came for the ice walk through Johnston Canyon and it totally delivered. The frozen waterfalls are wild to see up close. Town is super easy to get around and food options on Banff Ave are solid.
Stunning scenery all around
Lake Minnewanka is gorgeous even in late autumn - quiet, peaceful, and the reflections on the water are unreal. The whole area feels untouched. Great place if you just need to switch off completely.
Banff is absolutely worth it
Hiked around the area and the Sulphur Mountain gondola ride gave some of the best panoramic views I've ever seen. Town itself is small but has everything you need - good restaurants, cozy cafes, friendly locals.
A must-do Canadian experience
Banff Hot Springs after a full day of hiking? Absolute perfection. The whole town has this laid-back, outdoorsy feel that's hard to find elsewhere. Wildlife spotting near the Vermilion Lakes was a bonus we didn't expect!
